Who am I?
How can I live in a grounded and integrated way, in presence and love, whilst still participating in the world?
This retreat offers a container of practice, introspection and sharing to go deep into who you are, the patterns restricting your evolution, and the openings towards the divine.
Enter a space of true yoga: grounded presence and embodied awakening
This unique retreat in Rishikesh is for those who feel an inner desire to go deeper into their spiritual practice, towards realising who they are and how this experience of life plays out. For those seeking grounded and embodied guidance, experiential teachings, and a space of loving awareness in which they can grow and evolve. All levels, cultures and experiences are welcome.
Through meditation, guided reflection, group sharing, satsangs, individual feedback, and embodied activities such as movement and dance, I invite you to discover yourself through the yogic path.
26 November – 2 December 2026
at Yoga Centre of Lakad Ghat Chopta Farm, Rishikesh, India. A silent haven dedicated to deep meditation practices on the banks of the Ganges River and outside the main city of Rishikesh.

For those seeking to know themselves
I am a yogi and guide for those seeking clarity, deeper presence and awareness, and a life of integrated spiritual experiences.
I invite those who learn with me to go deep: deep into who they are, what they are seeking, and what is holding them back. I hold space for expression in all its forms: emotions, words, movement, silence, and more, allowing that expression to guide our spiritual evolution.
Expect to learn about yourself, develop a deep meditative practice, learn tools for introspection, and go home with an embodied approach that will continue to develop, refine and evolve after our time together.
Step out of effort into a field of resonance that awakens, uplifts, and aligns
The spaces I hold don’t propose a set of techniques, practices and routines that will lead to a particular outcome. This is mechanical thinking: the same thinking that is currently destroying the environment and causing increased social inequality.
Instead, I invite people into spaces of resonance, where they can explore existence and presence through my unique guidance. This living field of Shakti was passed to me through the lineage of Maha SIddha Yoga, and animates all the activites I offer. This is the true essence of yogic teachings aligned with the traditions of Yoga, and not mass-exploited programmes for monetary gain, certificates or status.
We work with Kundalini Shakti during meditation sessions, and participants are invited to receive Shaktipat transmission to awaken and align their Kundalini-Shakti, the energy responsible for spiritual awakening.
Dive deep into authentic yogic teachings
Non-duality
The recognition that there is no separation at the heart of reality is core to my teachings. The other is simply a reflection of ourselves, and the perceived separation and individuality is a construction of this ego-self, which can be slowly dissolved through the Yogic path.
Teachings draw from non-dual traditions such as Kashmir Shaivism, Trika Tantra, and occasionally through indigenous perspectives.
Integrating spiritual experience
Spiritual ‘powers’ such as visions, premonitions, sights and sounds, and other phenomena are part of the path, but they are not the end-point of spiritual awakening and the evolution of consciousness.
Likewise, movements of energy, sometimes difficult and unmanageable, other times blissful, are simply manifestations of energy at a particular time. We’ll go into what these mean, how to avoid modern interpretations that “read into” everything, and how to live with whatever experiences may be present for us, including naming and identifying “energy”.
Knowing the self
Introspection and meditation were key parts of the yogic pathway that are often forgotten in today’s yoga programmes and retreats. We gather here not to ‘find ourselves’ with an answer that can be posted to social media…
Instead, we’ll go through a process of recognition in the Absolute, Universal Consciousness (Shiva), then coming back to physical reality where difference exists, finding the patterns, shapes and flows that make up the reality that you are. This involves knowing our traumas, our thinking patterns, unconscious desires – all great sources of learning and evolution on the yogic path.
Kundalini Shaktipat
This retreat offers a space where a transmission-based practice, Shaktipat, will be offered, to uplift, align and activate the evolutionary forces within participants, bringing to the fore key things to be addressed in our lives. This transmission is a lineage practice from Siddha Maha Yoga, the path of spontaneous unfolding, where participants move from effortful practice to softening, allowing, and receiving.
Those undergoing kundalini awakening processes are welcome on this retreat, and will find that the transmissions help align and ground their energetic processes.

Testimonials
Thanks for a mind blowing retreat workshop Jagadananda. It ticked all the boxes for me and it’s something I’d heartily recommend to anyone that wants to develop on their spiritual path. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Jagadananda seemed very down to earth and very empathetic and compassionate, and listened with his heart. His transmission gave me kriyas which is normal, but there is no absolute normal, since everyone has their own experience with it. But I can assure anyone deliberating over walking this path that they have nothing to fear. It’s very safe, and the guru bestows this gift of grace in a very safe way. It’s all about self realization and any kind of fear based thinking separates us from attaining that.
So anyone reading this, please don’t let fear or nervousness deter you from taking this wonderful life changing retreat. Thank you sincerely Jagadananda. I’m brimming with gratitude for this gift you bestowed.

From the moment I was in your presence I felt an absolute peace and comfort wash over me.
The Shaktipat transmission you did was a truly amazing experience. I felt my whole being expand into a vastness that was never ending and yet it felt so safe and blissful. My whole being felt aligned with love. I caught the bus back home feeling like I was walking on air, I felt so happy. And I still do! The afterglow has not gone away. My body feels like it has more capacity than ever to hold the good stuff, my cells feel activated. There’s more space in my mind and body, thoughts and feelings are lighter than before the transmission, the heavy emotions seem to have been freed. I feel like as well that there’s a clear and clean breeze running through me somehow, the fog has been lifted. I am meeting my everyday life with more presence.
Thank you so much Jagadananda!

I have been experiencing a kundalini awakening for nearly 20 years, and throughout that time, I struggled to find a suitable mentor. When I discovered Jagadānanda’s offerings, I began mentoring sessions with him to support my transition to the next stage of my development. His compassionate and insightful guidance created the space for a deep release of trauma that my body had been holding for more than a decade.
His work is powerful and transformative, and I would recommend him to anyone seeking deeper healing on their spiritual path.
